As part of an ongoing workspace enhancement programme, Flight Centre required the installation of new acoustic phone booths and a working booth to support flexible and private working.

The brief focused on providing high-quality, sound controlled environments that blended seamlessly with the existing office aesthetic, while installation needed to be completed quickly and with minimal disruption to the team.

Key Requirements

Planning & Coordination 

A pre-installation site survey was conducted to confirm access routes, lift usage, and positioning on the 4th and 5th floors. Detailed delivery logistics were agreed in advance to ensure smooth installation during normal working hours.

Delivery & Preparation

All components were delivered to site and carefully transported via the goods lift. Each location was prepared in advance, with protective measures placed to safeguard surrounding finishes and flooring.

Phone Booth Installation

Two Max Calma Small Acoustic Booths were installed. One outside the kitchen area and one in the office. Each booth featured integrated ventilation and dimmable motion-controlled LED lighting, along with a height-adjustable table, power sockets and acoustic felt lining for enhanced privacy. Finishes were specified to suit their surroundings.

This completed installation formed part of Flight Centre’s ongoing workspace enhancement programme to support flexible, private working. Completed efficiently, the project delivered high-quality, sound-controlled spaces that enhance comfort, productivity, and focus, seamlessly blending practicality and design.

Completion & Handover

Once installed, all booths were cleaned, checked for full functionality, and handed over to the client ready for immediate use. The installation was completed efficiently within the working day, without disruption to office operations..

Working Booth Installation

A Max Calma Z Working Booth was installed to create a comfortable, semi-private workspace. The booth included soft seating, a retractable table, power and data sockets, and motion-sensor lighting. The booth’s fabric on the acoustic felt panels complemented the existing colour scheme.
