The client wanted to transform their new library into an enchanting, forest-themed space that would inspire imagination and a love for reading. The vision included children sitting beneath a tree on a forest-like floor during storytime sessions.

Creative Concept Development
Rather than artificial grass, we proposed Interface Urban Retreat carpet tiles—offering the comfort and visual texture needed for an imaginative yet practical forest floor.

Bespoke Floor Design
We created a custom layout simulating woodland pathways and clearings, forming the foundation of the forest-inspired theme.

Preparation Works
All electrical sockets and floor boxes were safely removed before preparing the subfloor to ensure a flawless finish.
In just three days, we delivered a unique and inspiring library floor that combines creativity, comfort, and functionality—bringing the client’s “enchanted forest” vision to life for young readers.

130m² of carpet tiles were cut and laid to match the design, and the central artificial tree was installed and secured as a key feature.
