Project Brief
Location: Rylston, Surrey
Sector: Heritage / Public Services
This stunning turn-of-the-19th-century country house, built on the original hunting grounds of Henry VIII, is now Rylston Registry Office, part of Surrey County Council. The client required a complete renovation of the window treatments to enhance the interiors and frame the glorious gardens beyond.

5 Key Steps in the Design Process
01
Detailed Planning
The project was a long time in the detailed planning and selection of the perfect fabrics, with every choice carefully considered for both heritage context and timeless appeal.
02
Fabric Selection
Hand-picked, colour-coordinated fabrics were chosen to create voile dress curtains with tie-backs, blending elegance with practicality.
03
Design Integration
Textured plinths were used to conceal the mechanism for fully functional roller blinds, achieving a balance of form and function.
This well-planned project allows couples to say “I do” in Surrey’s newest luxury ceremony venue! Our re-decoration works complemented the historic building’s elegant style, allowing couples to make their vows in a classic and beautiful space on their special day.
05
Installation & Delivery
The installation was completed within the agreed schedule, transforming the windows into refined frames for the gardens beyond. Fit for a King!
04
Handmade Craftsmanship
All curtains and tie-backs were handmade, with meticulous attention to detail ensuring a flawless finish and enduring quality.
