Lady of Grapes – a modern French bistro and organic wine bar – needed a complete internal and external redecoration of its frontage. The goal was to restore and enhance the venue’s character while ensuring the work respected the business’s operational hours and central London location.

Planning & Permits
We secured all necessary licences for scaffolding and pavement access from Westminster Council, ensuring compliance for works in this high-traffic area.

Repair & Restoration
Our team repaired damaged mortar and replaced rotten timber caused by age and impact. The wooden frontage, which had suffered damage in the past, was expertly restored.

Upgrades & Enhancements
Old, broken lighting and a dated menu board were removed. New lead flashing was installed to protect the façade, and client-supplied lanterns, spotlights, and an illuminated menu display were fitted.
We successfully revitalised the client’s shopfront by stripping and repainting the exterior. Through effective repairs, the use of high-quality materials, and attention to weatherproofing, we ensured the front of the restaurant retained its visual appeal to customers.

Business-Sensitive Delivery
Works were carefully scheduled around the venue’s opening times to minimise disruption and allow the bistro to continue trading without interruption.

Detailing & Finishing Touches
New sash window locks and stair nosing were installed for improved security and safety. Interior and exterior surfaces were fully prepared and painted for a fresh, cohesive finish.
