BRIEF
Our client wanted to create an area where staff could have informal meetings, get away from their desks and relax where possible. They also wanted this area to be clearly distinguishable from the rest of the office.
We put together a few different CAD plans and mood boards to show different ways this could be achieved to meet the requirements of the brief.
THE SOLUTION
Firstly the area had to be cleared of all existing furniture, some of which was kept by the client and some of which was disposed of.
We decided to go with the Screen D range from Sven Christianson and used a combination of one, two and three seater sofas in three tone fabric, some of which had hoods and some without, which created layers within the design whilst also giving the area a versatile feel. For tables we went with rectangle concrete MFC to compliment the fabric choices made by the client.
To separate the area, we used the new HiBox Storage also from Sven, as appose to traditional partitioning. This gave the space a more open ambience and also allows for extra storage or decoration such as plants if the client would like to.
