Colour branded blinds for open plan reception

From the architect’s drawings, Creed Miles were asked to provide a quotation for building and installing two bespoke reception counters and one cash counter for their reception area.


Having successfully won the tender, Creed Miles worked closely with the senior architect of the University to finalise the desk and counter configurations, detailing and colours.

To complete a successful project, close liaison with the partitioning and electrical contractors was imperative to ensure the design would incorporate all the requirements for installation.

Drawings were resubmitted showing plans, 3D renders and elevations with reference to all laminate colours being used.

Both reception counters had to be DDA compliant, with built in pedestals, incorporating pull out shelves for printers, lockable drawers and PC compartment.

The cash counter also had to be fully cable managed to take power and entry systems for the glass door adjacent to it and audio document transfer tray, complete with induction loop. Two bespoke pedestals were added to the cashiers side for documentation.

After all the drawings were signed off we commissioned the build of all three bespoke counters and installed all three in time for the grand opening Graduation Ceremony!
