BRIEF

The client wanted to refurbish an existing home to accommodate the change in use. We needed to make all the areas safe for the change of use and new admissions, but at the same time the areas needed to be as homely and comfortable as possible.

THE SOLUTION

Bathroom and Kitchen Floors: Supply and installed new LVT wood effect tiles to replace the existing safety vinyl to make the areas feel more homely whilst retaining an element of practicality.

Windows: Supply and install wood Venetian window blinds and Anti-Ligature Roller blinds where required

Walls and Skirting: Rub down and paint all walls and skirting’s

Doors: To supply and install new Anti-Barricade doors where required, including new frames and architraves. These allow staff to remove the door jam and allow for the doors to open both ways, giving the admissions a sense of privacy without jeopardising their safety

Lighting: Supply and install new Anti-Ligature LED light fittings where required, with the shower room on a PIR motion sensor system

Radiator Cabinets and Boxing in Piping: We supplied, altered and built bespoke radiator cabinets where required as well as boxing in all high level piping to reduce any risks to admissions.
